Sonya Isaacs Yeary is a multi award winning artist who has garnered success in country, gospel and bluegrass markets as a soloist and a member of her family band, The Isaacs. She is the mandolin player and a vocalist for the Isaacs, who are members of the Grand Ole Opry and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and have been featured for 2 decades on the Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concert Series. Sonya made 2 solo albums with Disney’s Lyric Street Records, one produced by Vince Gill, who was her biggest mentor in country music. She has written many award winning songs and has had cuts by Trisha Yearwood, Leann Rimes, Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Sarah Evans and many others along with her numerous gospel hits. Sonya has won several Dove Awards for her songs, and also enjoys singing backing vocals for such artists like Reba, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley,Trisha Yearwood, Trace Adkins, Josh Turner and many more. She was also a background singer for Miley Cyrus in the Hannah Montana movie, and appeared on soundtracks on the Disney Films Geppetto and My Neighbor Totoro. The IBMA, SGMA, and CCMA have nominated Sonya for Female Vocalist for many years running, and she has won numerous awards in all these genres. She and her husband Jimmy Yeary have 3 children and reside in Hendersonville, TN. Sonya has a strong, undeniable love for God, family and America.
