Jeff T aylor grew up in Western NY studying Classical Piano at Eastman School of Music and playing in his Dad’s polka/variety band since he was 10. He and his wife Vicki have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. They have lived in TN for 35 years. Jeff was a bandleader at Opryland and on the General Jackson Showboat for several years, has played 100s of times on the Grand Ole Opry with many artists (currently Riders In The Sky), was a founding member of the Grammy award winning Time Jumpers (25 years), and has recorded and traveled with numerous artists including: Ricky Skaggs, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Buddy Greene, Alison Krauss, The Gettys, Andrew Peterson, The Gaithers, and many others. He is a self proclaimed “hymn junkie”.
