Dr. Duncan serves as Senior Professor of Church Music and Worship in the School of Church Music and Worship. Through his teaching, he emphasizes that when God’s people gather for worship, they are equipped and inspired to share the gospel. With extensive experience leading worship in both the local church and at the denominational level, he has also served as conductor of two premier choral groups. In addition, he has taught as an adjunct professor at several seminaries and universities. He is the creator of the conference Discovering Biblical Worship , which has been presented in eight states and four countries. His writing includes articles for Church Musician , Worship , and other Lifeway resources as both an author and contributing author. He and his wife, Mary, have two grown daughters, Raechel and Jessica.
