Ryan Foglesong

Ryan Foglesong serves as Pastor of Corporate Worship at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California, where he oversees the order of service, choir, orchestra, band, and the leading of music for Sunday worship. A songwriter, arranger, orchestrator, bassist, and teacher, Ryan has spent more than two decades helping churches sing the gospel through theologically rich, musically compelling, and congregationally accessible music. Ryan regularly serves in rotation as a bass player for Getty Music and teaches at the Sing! Conference. He is also a contributor to the Sing! Hymnal, which includes his song “All of Our Tomorrows.” As an arranger and orchestrator, Ryan enjoys creating music for congregations, choirs, orchestras, and bands, especially in settings where these ensembles come together to support the church’s singing. Ryan began writing and arranging hymns in the early 2000s with the band Enfield and is also a songwriter with Sovereign Grace Music, with songs including “Be Still, Be Still, My Soul (Psalm 46)” and “The Steadfast Love of Christ.” He has taught at the WorshipGod Conference for many years and has played bass on Sovereign Grace recordings since 2010. In addition, Ryan teaches Songwriting and Composition at The Master’s University. Ryan is passionate about helping the church sing the gospel with theological depth, musical excellence, and congregational clarity, while forming musicians who serve with skill, humility, and joy. He and his wife, Rachel, have three children and two goldendoodles.
